Licensed Practical Nurse – Night Shift, 2nd Floor Rehab

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work the night shift on the 2nd Floor Rehabilitation unit, providing safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care to patients. Reporting to a Registered Nurse, the LPN applies the nursing process and follows Baptist Health protocols to support patient recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, including assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and monitor patient vital signs.
• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Document all nursing activities accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and assist with code situations.
• Participate in rehabilitation activities and support patient mobility goals.

Required profile

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing in Arkansas.
• Willingness to work the night shift (6:30 pm – 7:00 am).
• Current Healthcare CPR certification; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NALS) may be required and will be provided.
• Ability to follow direction of a Registered Nurse and demonstrate critical thinking.
