Lodging Clerk & Linen Specialist – Full‑time

About the role

The Lodging Clerk/Linen Specialist will support the daily operations of the government lodging facility in Kuwait. This full‑time position ensures smooth check‑in/check‑out processes, linen exchange, and maintenance activities while maintaining accurate occupancy data.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservations, check‑in and check‑out of personnel using Government Lodging Software.
• Manage linen exchange, handling an average of 285 linen sets per day and providing rapid turnover for up to 325 individuals per hour.
• Conduct building and room preventative maintenance inspections, safety checks, and general cleaning.
• Maintain inventory, restocking, and accurate bed‑space assignments based on customer transactions and room occupancy validations.
• Control keys and door codes, ensuring no more than one discrepancy per quarter.
• Provide 24/7 locator service and supply accurate rosters to the company or government upon request.
• Assist with DVQ services, including bed making, room cleaning, and refrigerator restocking.
• Coordinate with repair technicians and manage work orders for equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in lodging, hospitality or linen exchange operations.
• Ability to maintain 100% room/customer accountability with limited data discrepancies (max four per month).
• Strong attention to detail for inventory, key control, and occupancy tracking.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling high‑volume linen turnover.
