Logistics & Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Logistics & Warehouse Manager will lead all logistics, warehousing and material control activities that support oil & gas operations. The role ensures safe, efficient and cost‑effective movement, storage and availability of critical materials while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, customs coordination and material distribution to operational sites.
• Manage warehouse functions including receiving, inspection, storage, preservation, issuing, dispatch and stock control of drilling, production, maintenance and project materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical verification, reconciliations and ERP inventory management.
• Monitor inventory levels, critical spares, slow‑moving and obsolete stock to optimise working capital.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, QHSE standards, regulatory and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Maintenance, Projects and Finance to guarantee timely material availability.
• Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards and management analyses to support decision‑making.
• Identify and implement improvements in warehouse utilisation, logistics efficiency and cost control.
• Lead, coach and develop logistics and warehouse personnel, fostering a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of managerial experience in logistics, warehousing or material management within the oil & gas sector.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory or assistant‑manager role leading logistics and warehouse teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics planning and material handling.
