Maintenance Manager – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the daily maintenance activities for Anton Oilfield Services’ facilities in Kuwait, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment. This senior position reports to the Energy Management Services department and plays a key role in supporting the company’s goal of becoming a world‑leading green energy technical services provider.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate safe, efficient daily maintenance operations of facility equipment.
• Develop, implement and monitor maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Plan, track and oversee preventive maintenance programmes for static and rotating equipment.
• Review, schedule and manage maintenance activities and performance reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance work to minimise downtime and optimise asset performance.
• Monitor equipment condition and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives related to maintenance management and operational performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years experience in maintenance of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems within oil & gas or industrial sector.
• At least 10 years in a supervisory or managerial maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, asset reliability and maintenance planning.
• Proven experience with static and rotating equipment, electrical systems and instrumentation/control systems.
• Understanding of HSE standards and best practices for industrial maintenance.
• Excellent leadership, planning, problem‑solving and team‑management abilities.
