Maintenance Technician – Restaurant Equipment – Kuwait

About the role

The Restaurant Maintenance Technician ensures safe, uninterrupted operation of all restaurant equipment, kitchen machinery, and physical infrastructure. This hands‑on role focuses on preventive maintenance and rapid emergency repairs to keep the dining environment code‑compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing of heavy commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, griddles, walk‑in coolers, freezers, dishwashers, and ice makers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues swiftly to minimise downtime during peak service hours.
• Maintain a comprehensive spare‑parts inventory and coordinate with vendors or manufacturers for specialised warranty repairs.

Required profile

• Proactive, hands‑on troubleshooter able to work under pressure during busy periods.
• Strong understanding of safety standards and code compliance for restaurant and kitchen environments.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment maintenance and repair.
