About the role
A leading construction company in Kuwait is looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer. The role involves designing and developing HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire‑fighting and other mechanical systems to meet project requirements and international standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire‑fighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, equipment schedules, and engineering specifications.
- Review construction and shop drawings, as well as technical submittals for compliance.
- Coordinate design activities with architectural, structural, electrical, and MEP disciplines.
- Support BIM coordination and resolve design clashes during project execution.
- Participate in value engineering, design optimisation, and technical review meetings.
- Provide engineering support to construction and commissioning teams.
