Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

About the role

The Occupational Therapist will join the Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Baptist Health, providing therapeutic services to a complex patient population. Working autonomously during a day shift, you will deliver age‑appropriate care while supporting the department’s growth and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement occupational therapy interventions for inpatient rehab patients.
• Demonstrate autonomy and accountability in delivering high‑quality care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with Level I career‑ladder requirements.
• Participate in continuous learning and departmental improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• BS, MS or DOT in Occupational Therapy.
• Arkansas State Board license or temporary license (acceptable for new graduates).
• Less than one year of professional experience is acceptable.
• Commitment to professional growth and adherence to department standards.

Required skills

• CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Core occupational therapy clinical skills.
