About the role
The Patient Care Tech I works on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit, providing direct support to patients and their families. This role requires compassion, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with the broader healthcare team to ensure safe and complete patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families with basic care, hygiene, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and provide education such as CPR and hospitality training.
Required profile
- Completion of at least 12 college credit hours, including English Composition with a grade C or higher and a minimum GPA of 2.0 (transcripts verified).
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational abilities, and willingness to work flexible hours.
- Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills, collaborate effectively with the care team, and proactively anticipate patient needs.
