About the role
The Patient Care Tech I works on the 3rd Floor Rehab unit during night hours (6:30 pm‑7:00 am). The role supports patients and families with basic care, monitoring, and hygiene while acting as a compassionate link between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families with basic patient care, monitoring, and hygiene.
- Provide clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
Required profile
- 12 college‑level credit hours including a passing grade in English Composition (C or higher) and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater (transcripts verified).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, strong organization, and good verbal and written communication skills.
Required skills
- CPR certification (provided).
- Training in skills, Crucial Conversations, and Hospitality in Healthcare (provided).
