About the role

The Patient Care Tech I – Sitters provides essential bedside support during night hours, assisting patients and families with basic care, hygiene and monitoring while ensuring compassionate, patient‑centered interaction.

Key responsibilities

Assist patients and families with basic care, hygiene and monitoring.
Provide compassionate, patient‑centered interaction and ensure care tasks are completed.
Communicate effectively with patients, families and the broader healthcare team during night shifts.

Required profile

12 college‑level credit hours, including a passing grade in English Composition (C or higher) and a minimum GPA of 2.0 (transcripts verified).
Healthcare or service‑industry experience preferred but not required.
Willingness to work flexible night hours (6:30 pm–7:00 am) and a total of 72 hours bi‑weekly.
Strong organization, verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to learn and apply new healthcare‑related skills, collaborate with the care team, and proactively anticipate patient needs.
