Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

About the role

This position provides direct, specialized nursing care for newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, ensuring each infant receives individualized, physician‑aligned treatment and families are supported throughout the hospital stay.

Key responsibilities

• Assess newborns' condition, monitor vital signs and developmental status, and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide specialized care for premature, low‑birth‑weight and critically ill neonates, including respiratory support, IV therapy and feeding management.
• Educate parents and caregivers on newborn care, feeding techniques and home‑readiness before discharge.
• Coordinate care with neonatologists, pediatricians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, family‑centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation while upholding quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years of NICU experience for degree holders or up to 10 years for diploma holders.
• Valid Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts on a 24/7 coverage basis.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural hospital environment.
