Regulatory Reporting Officer – Kuwait Branch

About the role

The Regulatory Reporting Officer will support the Finance Manager in ensuring the Kuwait branch complies with all Central Bank of Kuwait reporting requirements. The role involves preparing periodic regulatory reports, coordinating with internal teams and external regulators, and maintaining high data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Verify balance sheets and related calculations for submission to the Central Bank of Kuwait in line with reporting guidelines.
• Prepare and submit all required Arabic regulatory reports within established deadlines.
• Assist in the selection, implementation, and integration of Central Bank reporting tools with core banking systems.
• Support the rollout of new regulatory requirements, policies and operational procedures.
• Monitor internal controls to mitigate non‑compliance risks and ensure timely statutory reporting.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather data for Basel III ratios (CAR, LCR, NSFR, LR, DSIB) and other regulatory metrics.
• Liaise with the Central Bank and other authorities to clarify reporting data and ensure accuracy.
• Work with the IT department on enhancements to reporting processes and system interfaces.
• Reconcile and submit cash/credit classification reports as per regulatory timelines.

Required profile

• University degree in Business, Banking, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the banking industry.
• Demonstrated ability to work with regulatory authorities and internal finance teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in preparing financial reports.
