Restaurant General Manager

About the role

The Restaurant General Manager will lead the flagship dining venue of Four Seasons’ award‑winning hotel in Kuwait City. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Grow restaurant revenue by optimizing seating capacity through OpenTable and increasing overall business volume.
• Drive average check and food‑to‑beverage ratios to maximize spend per guest.
• Act as a local ambassador, building relationships with concierges, real‑estate firms, transportation providers and other key partners.
• Collaborate with PR and Marketing to promote the venue to influencers, journalists, business professionals and hotel guests.
• Liaise with the catering team to secure private dining events and restaurant buy‑outs.
• Entertain and host influencers, media representatives and business promoters.
• Handle guest service issues, resolve complaints promptly, and manage online review responses to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain high standards of service, culture and operational best practices.
• Accountable for the restaurant’s P&L, financial performance and overall guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong communicator with the ability to diffuse employee and guest issues effectively.
• Proven leadership experience in upscale restaurant or hotel food‑and‑beverage operations.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving financial targets and managing profit and loss statements.
• Excellent networking skills with local businesses, concierges and media contacts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the OpenTable reservation platform.
