Restaurant Manager – Luxury Italian Dining

About the role

We are a 5‑star luxury hotel in Kuwait looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our premium Italian dining concept. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, elevate guest experiences, and drive profitability while upholding the highest standards of Italian hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead front‑of‑house operations, maintain a strong floor presence and ensure world‑class service at every shift.
• Control operating costs, monitor inventory, manage labour schedules and implement upselling strategies to maximise venue profitability.
• Recruit, train and develop supervisors, head waiters and service staff, fostering a 5‑star service culture.
• Build and maintain relationships with regular guests, VIP patrons and local food connoisseurs, handling feedback promptly and discreetly.
• Collaborate with Culinary and Beverage teams to design seasonal Italian menus, wine events and promotional concepts.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, hygiene standards and hotel policies.
• Oversee floor inventory, POS systems, glassware, chinaware and equipment upkeep to preserve luxury presentation.

Required profile

• Previous experience as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a 4‑star or 5‑star luxury hotel.
• Proven track record managing high‑volume, premium or fine‑dining Italian restaurant concepts.
• Strong leadership, communication and crisis‑management abilities in energetic dining environments.
• Ability to mentor diverse F&B teams and maintain smooth shift organisation.
