Sales Engineer – New Equipment

About the role

The New Equipment Sales Engineer will support Otis Kuwait’s new equipment operations, handling estimations, contract preparation and negotiations while ensuring the company is positioned as the preferred partner on competitive bids.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare contracts, negotiate and finalize agreements with clients under the guidance of the Manager – New Equipment.
• Develop pre‑qualification and technical documents to support new equipment proposals.
• Generate estimates and issue quotations based on project scope and Otis product offerings.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients, addressing potential risks and renewal conditions.
• Execute sales strategies to increase Otis market share across all product lines in the assigned market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers and contractors to position Otis favorably for new equipment projects.
• Coordinate with Aftermarket and Service departments to ensure contract terms are implemented.
• Conduct inspections of delivered equipment to verify completion of contractual scope.
• Maintain competitive awareness of market offerings to reinforce Otis as the preferred provider.
• Assist Finance with timely collection of payments per contract agreements.
• Update the new equipment contracts database in the MIS system and provide periodic status reports.
• Prepare sales reports and pipeline forecasts as requested by management.
• Ensure all sales operations comply with company quality procedures and ISO policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent (Master’s in Business Administration preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years experience in elevator/escalator sales and marketing within Kuwait.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
