Sales Representative – Ophthalmology (Cataract & Vitrectomy)

About the role

The Sales Representative will promote AMICO’s ophthalmology portfolio focused on cataract and vitrectomy solutions across the assigned territory. The role combines prospecting new accounts, maintaining relationships with surgeons and clinical staff, and ensuring timely order processing and collection.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse customer preferences, market potential and competitor actions, and document findings.
• Develop sales forecasts and action plans aligned with company strategy for supervisor approval.
• Present AMICO’s cataract and vitrectomy products to surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and close sales.
• Participate in regional conferences, workshops and promotional events to increase product visibility.
• Provide technical support during equipment installation, start‑up, utilisation and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Report on sales performance, customer feedback, and competitive activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales; fresh graduates with strong selling drive may be considered.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to build relationships and persuade key decision‑makers.
• Strong business acumen and a results‑oriented sales mindset.
