Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and support audit activities. The role requires strong analytical abilities and collaboration across departments to maintain financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, performing regular account reconciliations.
• Manage cost accounting functions, including COGS calculation and variance analysis.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately.
• Assist in budgeting, tracking actual performance against budget and preparing the annual budget.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide guidance to team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA or CA is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger management and month‑end closing.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and cost control.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a solution‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion (preferred).
