Senior Events Manager – EU Outreach Project

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Events Manager to support the EU’s communication outreach and engagement project across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role is part of a pool of Non‑Key Experts that will be mobilised on a short‑term, on‑demand basis for the 36‑month project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver conferences, seminars, workshops, press events and public outreach activities.
• Manage all logistical aspects of institutional events, including venue coordination, participant registration and supplier liaison.
• Organise event schedules, speakers, moderators and technical service providers.
• Support protocol arrangements and the participation of high‑level EU officials, partner institutions and external stakeholders.
• Supervise on‑site event implementation to ensure smooth delivery.
• Coordinate event‑related communication materials and participant information.
• Assist with post‑event reporting, evaluations and lessons learned.
• Collaborate closely with communication teams, service providers and DG MENA to ensure successful event outcomes.

Required profile

• University degree (or equivalent professional experience) in event management, communication or hospitality.
• Fluent English; French and/or Arabic are an asset.
• Minimum five years of general experience in event organisation and logistics.
• At least three years of specific experience managing institutional or communication events.
