Service Desk Admin I (NOSC) – Secret Clearance

About the role

The Service Desk Administrator provides critical technical support for enterprise IT systems in a defense environment. Working under the OMDAC‑SWACA program, the role ensures continuous operation of core services, monitors service interruptions, and resolves incidents while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide enterprise‑level technical and non‑technical support for AESMP incidents and requests.
• Act as an escalation point for complex application or system issues, offering guidance and resolution strategies.
• Perform initial assessments, triage, research, and resolution of technical issues.
• Monitor and analyze scheduled and unscheduled Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) and Hazardous Conditions (HAZCONs) within the Southwest Asia AOR.
• Document duty‑shift activities, including outages, network tasking orders, and network trends.
• Manage tickets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely updates and resolution in line with ITIL processes.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and internal Vectrus leadership.

Required profile

• Associate‑level certifications such as MCSA and CCNA‑Security.
• Familiarity with DISA guidelines and ITIL service‑management processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a host‑nation visa and driver’s license.
• Eligibility for a Secret Clearance.
