Survey Inspector – Marine & Port Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Survey Inspector to join Egis’ port construction project in Kuwait. The role will support the delivery of the marine and port infrastructure by overseeing site surveys, ensuring design compliance and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site surveys and inspections throughout all phases of the port construction.
• Perform design reviews and provide technical input to optimise project plans and specifications.
• Supervise construction activities to verify compliance with project requirements, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Utilise advanced survey equipment and techniques to collect and analyse data for planning and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to resolve technical issues and keep the project on schedule.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with findings, recommendations and supporting documentation.
• Validate contractor‑provided survey data for accuracy and conformity with specifications.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in survey inspection, preferably on marine or port projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and local/international codes.
