Technical Inspector – Communications & Electronics

About the role

The Technical Inspector – Communications & Electronics will be based in Kuwait and will support V2X’s global mission to deliver smart, secure communication solutions for military and commercial customers. Reporting to the Lead Technical Inspector (Quality Assurance), you will conduct thorough inspections, testing and troubleshooting of a wide range of communication equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial, in‑progress, classification and final inspections of communication systems.
• Operate and diagnose communication equipment using technical manuals, bulletins and written directives.
• Inspect parts for damage or wear with micrometers and gauges, and order repair parts as needed.
• Conduct functional tests on serviced, repaired or overhauled equipment to verify operational efficiency.
• Assist shop personnel with troubleshooting processes and ensure proper use of TMDE.
• Execute PDQR procedures when receiving improper or damaged repair parts.
• Provide clear instructions to shop workforce and collaborate with maintenance teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; six years continuous experience with maintenance and communication systems of combat tactical vehicles or similar equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical and commercial manuals for servicing, operation and repair.
• Strong knowledge of US Government property classification requirements.
