Transient Aircraft Services Technician (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician provides aircraft ground handling and servicing at a Kuwait installation supporting U.S. Air Force and coalition operations. Working 24/7 in a high‑tempo, austere environment, the technician ensures safe, efficient turn‑around of aircraft while complying with all safety and technical directives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, chocking, grounding and positioning according to Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including general ground handling tasks to support mission readiness.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Maintain strict tool control and participate in foreign object debris (FOD) prevention activities.
• Document aircraft servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.
• Communicate hazards, equipment malfunctions and operational issues to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• Valid U.S. Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work in a high‑tempo, austere environment with 24/7/365 flight line operations.
• Commitment to a ZERO‑Harm workplace and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Experience with aircraft ground handling and flight line safety standards.
