Transient Aircraft Services Technician – Secret Clearance

About the role

KBR is seeking a Transient Aircraft Services Technician to support Southwest Asia Transient Aircraft Services (SWA TAS) in Qatar. The role involves executing aircraft ground handling and servicing operations 24/7 in a high‑tempo, austere environment while maintaining strict safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO‑Harm workplace by adhering to flight‑line safety requirements, FOD prevention, tool control, and PPE usage.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, positioning, chocking, grounding, and safe departure procedures in line with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute aircraft servicing tasks required for turn‑around and mission readiness, including launch and recovery assistance.
• Conduct operator‑level inspections and servicing of vehicles and support equipment used in TAS operations.
• Ensure strict accountability of tools and equipment, following tool‑control programs.
• Participate in routine flight‑line inspections, remove foreign objects, and report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate documentation such as servicing records, shift logs, and inspection checklists.

Required profile

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work in a 24/7/365 flight‑line environment.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with Technical Orders, PWS, and U.S. Air Force directives.
