Transient Aircraft Services Technician – Secret Clearance (Kuwait)

About the role

The Transient Aircraft Services (TAS) Technician provides aircraft ground handling and servicing at a Kuwait installation in support of U.S. Air Force and coalition missions. Working 24/7 on a high‑tempo flight line, the role ensures safe arrival, marshaling, turn‑around and departure of aircraft while complying with all safety and security directives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a ZERO‑harm workplace by following flight‑line safety, FOD prevention, tool control and PPE requirements.
• Perform aircraft marshaling, parking, positioning, chocking and grounding in accordance with Technical Orders and airfield procedures.
• Execute arrival and departure services, including general ground handling tasks to support aircraft turn‑around.
• Assist with aircraft launch and recovery operations under supervision.
• Inspect and service TAS vehicles and support equipment at the operator level.
• Maintain strict accountability of tools and equipment and adhere to tool‑control programs.
• Conduct routine flight‑line inspections, remove foreign objects and report safety hazards.
• Complete required documentation such as servicing records, shift logs and inspection checklists.

Required profile

• Ability to work in an austere, high‑tempo environment with 24/7/365 flight‑line operations.
• Commitment to strict safety standards and zero‑harm workplace culture.
• Hold a U.S. Secret security clearance (or be eligible).
• Effective communication with supervisors and team members.
