Videographer & Video Editor

About the role

CODED, the first tech and AI academy in the Arab world, is looking for a Videographer & Video Editor to turn approved scripts into polished, on‑brand videos ready for social publishing. The role covers the full production pipeline from pre‑production planning to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute shoots based on approved scripts, including shot lists, locations, wardrobe, and permissions.
• Operate mirrorless and DSLR cameras with full manual control, record live audio, and light interiors using portable LED kits.
• Direct presenters and staff on‑camera to ensure natural performance and brand‑compliant visuals.
• Edit footage in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, applying colour correction, grading, VFX, and platform‑specific captions.
• Deliver videos in vertical‑first formats (9:16) with Arabic and English burned‑in captions, adhering to each platform’s technical specs.
• Maintain strict file naming, backup, and archiving procedures while building a searchable b‑roll library.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Programs, and Partnerships teams for brief alignment, brand review, and sign‑off.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of full‑time experience creating social‑first video content, preferably in an agency, in‑house brand, or content house environment.
• Proven ability to shoot and edit your own footage with strong on‑set audio and lighting habits.
• Fluent in Arabic and English and culturally aware of Kuwaiti norms.
• Organised, disciplined, and reliable with file management and deadlines.
