Arabic Pastry & Sweets Chef – Hawally, Kuwait

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Arabic Pastry & Sweets Chef to join our kitchen in Hawally, Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a range of traditional Arabic desserts as well as chocolate‑based items, ensuring high quality and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare chocolate mini bites and other chocolate‑based products.
• Produce traditional Arabic sweets such as Gharaybah, Gallash and Gaimat.
• Execute pastry and bakery items as required by the menu.
• Maintain consistent taste, texture and presentation across all products.
• Handle portioning, packaging and final finishing of desserts.
• Follow recipes accurately and adhere to food safety standards.
• Keep the work area clean, organized and compliant with hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in pastry, bakery or Arabic sweets production.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Arabic desserts and chocolate confectionery.
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and deliver consistent quality.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Willingness to work 9‑hour shifts, six days a week, with immediate availability.

Required skills

• Arabic sweets preparation (Gharaybah, Gallash, Gaimat).
• Chocolate mini bites preparation.
• Pastry and bakery techniques – mixing, shaping, baking, frying, filling, portioning, finishing.
• Food hygiene and safety compliance.
