Barista – Customer-Focused Coffee Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a passionate, customer‑focused Barista to join our dynamic coffee shop team. As the front‑line representative, you will create exceptional experiences for every guest while demonstrating deep knowledge of coffee and related products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to all customers.
• Explain and recommend coffee products, brewing equipment, and accessories.
• Prepare high‑quality espresso drinks, pour‑overs, and specialty beverages.
• Maintain expertise on coffee origins, brewing methods, and equipment features.
• Actively promote retail products and upsell complementary items.

Required profile

• Previous customer service experience (retail/hospitality preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
• Preferred: prior barista or coffee‑shop experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.
• Preferred: sales experience with a proven track record.
