Delivery Lead – Business Continuity Management

About the role

The Delivery Lead will own end‑to‑end delivery of a Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme, guiding it from mobilisation through business impact analysis, strategy definition, plan development, testing and hand‑over to business‑as‑usual. The role is accountable for scope, schedule, quality, commercial performance and the client relationship.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the delivery plan, milestones, dependencies and critical path against the signed Statement of Work.
• Run governance activities: weekly status reports, steering‑committee updates, RAID log management and change control.
• Manage production of deliverables, internal quality reviews and formal client acceptance.
• Track commercial aspects – budget, burn rate, invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Define BCM scope, policy and governance aligned to ISO 22301 and relevant regulations.
• Lead Business Impact Analyses, risk assessments and continuity‑strategy development.
• Oversee creation of Business Continuity Plans, crisis‑management structures, incident‑response protocols and communication trees.
• Design and execute exercise programmes (walk‑throughs, tabletop, simulations, live fail‑over) and drive remediation.
• Serve as primary client interface, secure inputs/approvals and manage stakeholder dependencies.
• Lead, allocate work to and develop the delivery team, ensuring knowledge transfer for client independence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Business Continuity Management, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery or Enterprise Risk.
• Proven track record delivering full‑cycle BCM programmes from mobilisation to hand‑over.
• Experience managing programme governance, RAID logs, executive reporting and steering committees.
• Strong client‑facing consulting experience, including workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
