Electrical Superintendent (Airfield Lighting)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead airfield lighting projects at AASAB and JSSD‑K. The role involves planning, installing, inspecting and maintaining electrical distribution, lighting and grounding systems in compliance with codes and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, layout, install and repair wiring, fixtures, control equipment and airfield lighting systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and manufacturer recommendations.
• Prepare sketches, follow blueprints and install concealed wiring before walls, ceilings and flooring are completed.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread and assemble conductors; pull wiring through conduit and splice wires using approved methods.
• Install and secure control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays and circuit‑breaker panels.
• Connect power and grounding leads to motors, HVAC units and other equipment, and test circuit continuity with instruments like ohmmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Supervise multiple craft crews, provide guidance to foremen and ensure work is performed safely without supervision.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 6‑9 years of related electrical experience.
• Journeyman or Master electrician license (or equivalent) and a valid Secret Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Completion of OSHA 30‑hour safety course.
• Ability to read, write and speak English at an intermediate level.
