Electrical Technician II – Downhole Tool Maintenance

About the role

Halliburton is seeking an Electrical Technician II to support the maintenance and repair of down‑hole tool electronics used in directional, RSS, and M/LWD applications. The role involves hands‑on work in a safe, efficient environment, providing critical support to our global energy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on down‑hole tool electronics.
• Calibrate and inspect equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assemble and disassemble Measure‑While‑Drilling (MWD) and Logging‑While‑Drilling (LWD) tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Technical school certificate or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of relevant equipment repair and maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electronics aptitude.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and follow detailed procedures.
