French Savory Chef – Premium Bakery

About the role

Haven Chocolate is seeking a talented French Savory Chef to lead the creation of premium French‑style savory products for its catering operations in Kuwait. The successful candidate will combine culinary expertise with innovation to deliver high‑quality bakery items that meet the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a range of French savory items, including croissants, sandwiches, quiches, puff pastries and other bakery products.
• Develop new recipes and seasonal offerings while maintaining consistency, taste and visual appeal.
• Ensure all products comply with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Support menu development and collaborate on product launches.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and oversee quality control.

Required profile

• Proven experience in French savory production and bakery operations.
• Strong background in luxury cafés, bakeries, hotels or restaurants.
• Creativity, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Expertise in laminated dough preparation.
• Knowledge of viennoiserie techniques.
• Experience with savory pastries and sandwich assembly.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
