Full/Associate/Assistant Professor of Accounting & Finance

About the role

The School of Business at American International University seeks a full‑time faculty member to join its Accounting and Finance department. The position is open at the rank of Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor, depending on the candidate’s experience and scholarly record. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate courses, develop innovative curricula, and contribute to the university’s research and service missions.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Accounting and Finance courses using technology‑enhanced methods.
• Design and update curricula, incorporating AI tools and interactive learning platforms.
• Supervise senior projects, provide academic advising, mentorship, and student support.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment aligned with industry and accreditation requirements.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental service, and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Required profile

• PhD in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of university teaching experience with demonstrated excellence in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Strong record of academic research or professional industry expertise in a relevant business discipline.
• Proficiency in English communication, advising, mentoring, and student engagement.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multicultural academic environment.
