Home Teacher for English, Science & Math (Andalous)

About the role

A private family in Andalous is seeking a dedicated home teacher to support their 10‑year‑old son with English, science and mathematics. The role is full‑time, beginning at the end of August and continuing until mid‑May, with the possibility of renewal for the 2026 fall term.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily instruction in English language skills, focusing on writing improvement.
• Teach science concepts appropriate for a 10‑year‑old, using engaging, hands‑on methods.
• Deliver mathematics lessons covering the curriculum of Dasman Bi‑Lingual School.
• Assess progress regularly and adapt teaching strategies to the child’s needs.
• Maintain a structured, supportive learning environment within the family home.

Required profile

• Experience tutoring or teaching children aged 8‑12, preferably in an English‑medium setting.
• Strong command of English, with the ability to improve writing skills.
• Solid knowledge of elementary‑level science and mathematics.
• Patience, reliability and the ability to build rapport with a young learner.
