Hotel Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer ensures the safety and security of hotel property, guests, colleagues, and assets. This role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and responding to security incidents to maintain a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas of the hotel property to deter and detect security breaches.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular security checks of access points, doors, and windows.
• Respond to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies as needed.
• Enforce safety and security regulations and policies.
• Assist guests and colleagues by providing directions and assistance.
• Maintain accurate records of security activities and incidents.
• Report any security concerns, incidents, or breaches to the security supervisor.
• Collaborate with the security team to maintain a secure environment.
• Participate in security training and drills.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas of the hotel.
• Provide support during events and gatherings to ensure security.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner, adhering to company EHS procedures.
