IT Business Partner – Supply Chain Management

About the role

The IT Business Partner – Supply Chain acts as the strategic bridge between the Supply Chain organisation and the IT function. You will ensure that technology solutions support warehousing, logistics, demand planning and fulfilment across a multi‑country retail and e‑commerce environment, driving operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Supply Chain leadership, translating business strategies into IT initiatives and road‑maps.
• Partner with architects, project managers and AMS teams to deliver scalable solutions for warehouse automation, logistics and inventory visibility, overseeing integration of ERP, SAP, WMS, TMS and other platforms.
• Identify and lead digital optimisation opportunities such as automation, AI/ML forecasting and IoT to improve warehousing and logistics processes.
• Establish KPIs for IT service delivery, ensure compliance with governance, cybersecurity and audit requirements, and support budgeting and cost optimisation.
• Build trusted relationships with Supply Chain heads, distribution centre managers and logistics partners, communicating project status, risks and business impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10–15 years of IT experience in retail, e‑commerce, FMCG or logistics, with at least one end‑to‑end WMS implementation (preferably SAP).
• Proven experience with ERP, TMS and WMS platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Manhattan and Blue Yonder.
• Exposure to integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft) and data‑analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of warehousing, logistics, replenishment and planning processes; experience in multi‑country environments is a plus.
