Loss Prevention Supervisor – Hotel Security

About the role

The Loss Prevention Supervisor ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets at the Courtyard by Marriott in Kuwait City. You will lead daily patrols, emergency response drills, and safety inspections while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all hotel areas, secure rooms and control access for guests and staff.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, authorize and document entry to restricted zones.
• Conduct emergency response drills, first‑aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Perform daily safety and hazard inspections, investigations, interviews, and key‑control audits.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and enforce alcoholic beverage control laws.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain confidentiality, and release information only to authorized personnel.
• Assist management with training, coaching, and fostering a fair‑treatment culture.
• Provide excellent guest service, answer phones professionally, and support team goals.

Required profile

• Ability to read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, run, and lift up to 50 lb unaided (75 lb with assistance).
• Fine motor skills for handling tools and equipment.
• Willingness to comply with any local licensing or registration requirements.
