About the role
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides essential support to patients and their families on the 2nd Floor Rehab unit. The role focuses on basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and ensuring that care is comprehensive and compassionate. Strong communication and human interaction skills are vital for success.
Key responsibilities
- Assist patients and families with basic care tasks, monitoring, and hygiene.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure complete and compassionate patient care.
Required profile
- Minimum of 12 college credit hours, including a passing grade in English Composition (C or higher) and an overall GPA of 2.0 or greater.
- Healthcare or service‑industry experience preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, strong organizational abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
