Property Book Clerk / Asset Visibility Specialist

About the role

The Property Book Clerk / Asset Visibility Specialist will be based in Kuwait and support APS-5 operations by ensuring accurate accountability, visibility, and tracking of Army Prepositioned Stocks equipment. This role is essential for maintaining equipment readiness and compliance with Army regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile property book records using APS‑5 systems such as AWRDS, GCSS‑Army, and DPAS.
• Conduct cyclic, sensitive, and annual inventories to achieve 100% accuracy.
• Manage equipment lifecycle actions including receipt, issue, transfer, movement, turn‑in, and reset.
• Prepare and validate hand receipts, shortage annexes, lateral transfers, and adjustment documents.
• Verify serial numbers for all vehicles and major end items against shipping manifests and property book data.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in APS‑5 operations, Army logistics, or property accountability.
• Knowledge of AR 710‑2, AR 735‑5, DA PAM 708‑2, and APS‑5 SOPs.
• Ability to obtain a Host Country Driver’s License and CAC eligibility.
• Military background or training is beneficial.
