Secondary French Teacher (EPG)

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Secondary French Teacher to deliver the National Curriculum (England/MOE) to its students. The role involves planning, teaching and assessing French lessons while fostering a safe and stimulating learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver French lessons aligned with the National Curriculum/ MOE, ensuring high standards and broad coverage.
• Set clear learning objectives, create engaging activities, and provide meticulous marking and timely feedback.
• Maintain classroom order, discipline and safety, adapting to diverse learning needs.
• Plan and implement activities that support students’ social, emotional and cultural development.
• Communicate regularly with parents, prepare transfer records and collaborate with support staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, school events and contribute to self‑evaluation and policy development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or PGCE in Secondary Education with French specialization.
• Proven experience teaching IGCSE French.
• Fluency in English and a passion for teaching children.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office and other school‑related computer programs.
