Senior HVAC Engineer – Site Supervision (Kuwait)

About the role

Egis is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior HVAC Engineer to lead on‑site supervision of HVAC installation, commissioning and maintenance for projects in Kuwait. The role ensures that all HVAC works meet design specifications, local codes and the company’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise on‑site HVAC installation, commissioning and maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with design, building codes and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and keep projects on schedule.
• Review and approve HVAC system designs, drawings and technical submittals.
• Perform energy modeling and analysis to optimise system performance and efficiency.
• Develop and implement quality‑control procedures for HVAC installations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Prepare detailed progress, issue and resolution reports.
• Ensure adherence to Kuwait’s local building codes and regulations.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss requirements and address concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid membership with the Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE).
• Minimum 15 years of HVAC engineering experience, including at least 2 years as a senior HVAC engineer focused on site supervision.
• Proven expertise in HVAC system design, installation and troubleshooting for commercial and industrial buildings.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Experience with energy modeling software and energy‑efficiency practices.
