Senior Manager IT Testing

About the role

The Senior Manager IT Testing leads the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies across the organization. This role ensures that all IT initiatives meet rigorous quality, security, and compliance standards while balancing risk with resource investment.

Key responsibilities

• Create, own, and evolve end‑to‑end testing policies and procedures, including security testing, and ensure organizational compliance.
• Define the testing process for all IT activities, aligning risk levels with appropriate time and effort.
• Identify and introduce tools, processes, and methodologies that improve testing efficiency and support automation.
• Develop metrics to assess risk‑management effectiveness and enhance testing processes based on identified risks.
• Design a curriculum for test‑environment provisioning and maintenance, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Define system parameters and measures to guarantee effectiveness and error‑free operation.
• Develop and track a Quality Assurance matrix and establish quality standards for IT operations.
• Provide recommendations for project‑specific testing coverage to ensure sufficient and necessary testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading IT testing functions at a senior level.
• Strong knowledge of testing policies, risk management, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Ability to design, implement, and continuously improve testing processes.
• Experience with security testing and automation concepts.
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
