Shoulder & Elbow Specialist (Orthopedics)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Shoulder & Elbow Specialist to deliver safe, evidence‑based care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings. The role focuses on achieving high patient satisfaction, low complication rates, and full compliance with JCI documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history, physical exam, and imaging, to formulate consultant‑level diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, performing office‑based procedures such as joint aspiration, injections, and fracture reduction.
• Manage the complete peri‑operative pathway from pre‑operative evaluation through postoperative recovery.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless discharge and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation that meets JCI standards and participate in MDT case reviews and quality initiatives.

Required profile

• MBBS/MBBCh with a Master’s in Orthopedics and MOHE‑approved Fellowship/Board Certification.
• Minimum 9 years of post‑fellowship experience, specifically in shoulder and elbow surgery.
• Demonstrated expertise in upper‑limb anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology.
• Strong communication, resilience under clinical pressure, and patient‑focused professionalism.

Required skills

• Advanced arthroscopy techniques.
• Reconstructive arthroplasty procedures.
• Interpretation of MRI, CT arthrography, and ultrasound imaging.
• Ultrasound‑guided injection administration.
• Design and oversight of rehabilitation protocols for shoulder and elbow patients.
