SSA Stock Control Section Lead – Kuwait (Secret Clearance)

About the role

The Supply Support Activity (SSA) Stock Control Section Lead oversees all stock record management, accountability and demand‑driven materiel support for a theater‑level SSA in Southwest Asia. The role ensures accurate inventory control, reconciliation, cataloging and forecasting while coordinating closely with Receiving, Storage and Issues Sections.

Key responsibilities

• Manages all stock record operations including cataloging, due‑in/due‑out management and demand analysis.
• Maintains accountability of SSA inventory, performs cyclic inventories, resolves discrepancies and ensures 100 % accuracy.
• Coordinates with Receiving, Storage and Issues Sections to align materiel flow and records.
• Prepares stock status reports, inventory roll‑ups and maintains audit‑ready documentation per Army regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years logistics experience or HS diploma with 9+ years Army supply experience.
• Active U.S. Secret clearance (preferred) and ability to obtain required theater certifications.
• Ability to work in austere, deployed or extreme‑heat environments and meet LOGCAP V deployment requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GCSS‑Army stock record and inventory modules.
• HAZMAT / HAZCOM certification (required or obtainable after hire).
