Area Manager – Multi‑Site Food & Beverage Operations

About the role

Our client in the Food & Beverage sector is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of multiple fast‑casual dining outlets in Kuwait. The role focuses on driving operational performance, developing store teams, and ensuring a consistently high customer experience across all assigned locations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze store sales profitability and create strategic operational plans.
• Manage staff movement, scheduling, and vacation planning to ensure optimal coverage.
• Monitor and control cost budgets and COGS to maximise efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with the training department on succession planning and team development.
• Oversee end‑to‑end inventory management and stock movements across all locations.
• Lead local marketing initiatives, developing seasonal promotions and events.
• Generate and present detailed weekly and monthly performance reports to the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of professional management experience within fast‑casual restaurant operations.
• A related business degree or equivalent professional certification.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial data analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy with proficiency in retail management systems and reporting software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety standards, security protocols, and cash management procedures.
