Area Manager – Retail Showrooms

About the role

The Area Manager will oversee Splash showrooms within a designated region, driving sales growth, profitability and exceptional customer experiences. This role combines strategic planning, operational excellence and people leadership to ensure each store meets visual merchandising, stock and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise sales and profitability across all assigned showrooms.
• Develop and implement store strategies, procedures and visual merchandising standards.
• Coach Store Managers on commercial data, cost control and inventory management.
• Monitor stock availability, order processes, back‑store operations and timely stock counts.
• Lead new store openings, refits and seasonal promotions.
• Ensure staffing levels are optimized and support recruitment, onboarding and performance appraisal.
• Handle employee relations, grievance resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Analyse mystery‑shopping feedback and drive continuous improvement in customer service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail management or multi‑store supervision.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
• Excellent coaching and communication skills.
• Ability to work under budgetary constraints and meet operational standards.
