Army Aviation Quality Manager (UH‑60, AH‑64, CH‑47)

About the role

The Army Aviation Quality Manager will lead and manage QC personnel to ensure effective execution of the quality program for rotary‑wing aircraft (UH‑60, AH‑64, CH‑47) at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, apply, revise and implement quality assurance plans and audits to meet product quality targets.
• Maintain quality standards for receiving, in‑process and final inspection in line with contractual requirements.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, implement corrective actions and monitor continuous improvement.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare formal reports and define audit schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement through training and communication of quality standards.

Required profile

• Eight (8)+ years of Aviation Quality Manager experience, including at least two (2) years in a rotary‑wing QA/QC role.
• Two (2)+ years in a managerial position overseeing quality personnel.
• US citizenship, valid US passport and ability to obtain NAC‑I Public Trust clearance and Kuwait PCC & visa.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work in remote, potentially hazardous conditions.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of QA/QC methodologies, ISO 9000, Lean Six Sigma and statistical methods.
• Familiarity with DCMA INST 8210‑1C/AR 95‑20.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for creating Quality Management System documentation.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
