Assistant Manager – Tax (GCR) – Kuwait

About the role

EY is seeking an Assistant Manager to join its Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) tax team in Kuwait. You will work with a diverse group of tax professionals to deliver high‑quality tax compliance, reporting and advisory services to multinational clients across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team in delivering direct and indirect tax compliance, statutory accounting and financial reporting for large‑scale projects.
• Manage day‑to‑day client engagements, monitor progress, ensure standardized processes and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate delivery of tax services across EY’s regional teams, handling issue resolution and contract management.
• Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships to ensure service quality.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive learning culture.

Required profile

• Strong technical tax knowledge combined with commercial, legislative and industry insight.
• Proven ability to manage client engagements, anticipate risks and drive performance improvements.
• Experience leading high‑performing teams and building collaborative relationships.
