Assistant Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Storekeeper to support inventory storage, stock control, and distribution across Kout Food Group brands, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor inventory levels across multiple food brands and franchises.
• Conduct daily stock counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Monitor slow‑moving, excess, and expired stock and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with buyers and quality control departments regarding short‑landed or damaged materials.
• Support procurement and restaurant teams with timely stock replenishment.
• Supervise receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with company standards.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and adherence to FIFO and FEFO practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and timely ERP/system updates.
• Prepare inventory, consumption, and spoilage reports for management review.
• Supervise, train, and guide warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in warehouse or storekeeping operations, preferably in FMCG or the food industry.
• Knowledge of inventory control, FIFO and FEFO practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and stock management processes.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
