B2B Collection Specialist

About the role

The B2B Collection Specialist is responsible for managing outstanding payments from enterprise customers, resolving billing issues, and reducing accounts receivable balances. The role works closely with finance and B2B management to ensure timely collections while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Contact enterprise customers via phone or email to initiate collection efforts and negotiate payment agreements.
• Escalate billing or collection complaints to senior collection professionals or department managers.
• Monitor pending payments, register received funds, and update account status records promptly.
• Identify overdue accounts, investigate discrepancies between customer records and billing systems, and take corrective actions.
• Send payment reminders, inform customers of possible service pauses, and ensure disconnections follow policy.
• Prepare regular reports on collection activities, KPIs, and progress.
• Develop and update collection policies and procedures in coordination with Finance and Zain Kuwait B2B management.
• Comply with ISMS security policies and occupational health & safety requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Collection Specialist or in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
• Familiarity with collection laws and regulations in Kuwait.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate, present and influence at all organizational levels.
• Experience designing KPIs, reports and dashboards.
• Comfortable working with targets and meeting performance metrics.
