Barista – Specialty Coffee

About the role

Join a leading hospitality brand in Kuwait as a Barista – Specialty Coffee. We are looking for a passionate coffee professional with strong specialty coffee knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and hands‑on experience in espresso preparation, manual brewing, and latte art.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, including espresso‑based drinks, pour‑over, French press, and cold brew.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
• Ensure consistency in coffee quality, taste, and presentation.
• Grind, dose, tamp, and extract espresso according to brand standards.
• Educate guests about coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming café experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or café.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, extraction, and milk texturing.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Age limit up to 30 years.

• Salary: KD 130 basic plus KD 25 food allowance.
